He bought it because of its origins and its diluted coat, but also because, already then, he had noticed that this mare had something special, and so he bred her and broke her in with great care.

In time, his suspicions were confirmed. JAMARINA (as we called her) turned out to be her favorite because she is not only very beautiful, but also because she has a amazing attitude. She is always ready to collaborate, nicele, affectionate, never a bad gesture.

Even when he took her at fairs or pilgrimages, where hundreds of horses gather, crowds and a lot of noise, she remained calm in the hands of her owner.

Needless to sayshe attracted all eyes, especially whenhe had a child of his family climb on top of her to take a ride.

So the day he decided to stop breeding Lusitanos, he sold them all except JAMARINDA.

He had realized her talent and decided to continue training her for his own pleasure. He taught her to do all the lateral movements at three paces, the counter canter, the change of foot, an impressive Spanish walk and the piaffer foot on the ground.

Unfortunately, a few months ago, this gentleman had a very serious car accident and was told that he would not be able to get back on horseback for a long time…..
