SELECTION, ANALYSIS AND FIRST VISIT
Step 3 — You discover the horses that best match your project
At this stage, we are not simply presenting you with random horses.
We filter the options, analyze the available information and help you move towards profiles that truly match your level, budget and what you are looking for.
The first visit can be done remotely, via video conference, or on site in Spain or Portugal.
WHAT WE ANALYZE BEFORE THE VISIT
CONSISTENCY WITH YOUR LEVEL
We check if the horse seems suitable for your experience and your goal.
CHARACTER AND USE
We seek to understand how the horse is ridden, handled and worked on a daily basis.
VIDEOS AND INFORMATION
We analyze the videos, photos and information received before going any further.
BUDGET AND LOCATION
We check if the horse remains consistent with your overall budget and the possibility of organizing a visit.
TWO WAYS TO DISCOVER THE HORSE
Depending on your situation, the first visit can be arranged remotely or on-site, in Spain or Portugal.
OPTION 1
FIRST REMOTE VISIT
If you are unable to travel immediately, we can arrange an initial remote visit via video conference.
This visit primarily allows you to observe the horse in its daily environment: its behavior with humans, its reaction when handled, its way of walking in hand, its attitude during grooming or when being saddled, as well as its behavior with other horses when possible.
Video conferencing also allows you to speak directly with the owner or horse rider who knows the horse, in order to ask your questions about its routine, its work, its character, its lifestyle and important details of its daily life.
TO NOTE
For ridden videos or higher-quality images, we prefer to request them separately. This allows them to be recorded properly, reviewed several times, and analyzed more calmly after the visit.
A video conference does not always replace an on-site visit, but it often allows us to know if the horse really deserves to be studied more seriously.
OPTION 2
VISIT THE HORSES ON SITE
If you would like to come and see the horses on site, we can help you organize a coherent program of visits in Spain or Portugal.
A visit on site allows you to meet the horse, observe it in its environment, try it if conditions permit and feel more directly its energy, its character and the possible connection with you.
Once you have chosen the horses you wish to see, we can arrange appointments with sellers, group visits by geographical area and prepare a realistic itinerary, so that your trip is truly worthwhile.
The goal is not to multiply the kilometers unnecessarily, but to allow you to see several serious horses, in a logical area, with a schedule adapted to your stay.
TO KNOW
If you are travelling without physical assistance from IberHorse, we remain available by phone or WhatsApp during your stay to help you with any practical or communication difficulties: an address that is difficult to find, a change of appointment, an exchange with a seller or an unforeseen event during the trip.
The initial visits, whether remote or on-site, are organized within the framework of the Full Service IberHorse, once your support is activated.
AFTER THE FIRST VISITS
After the initial visits, whether remote or on-site, you take the time to review the information, videos, exchanges with the sellers, and your impressions.
The goal is to compare the horses calmly, without pressure, and see which one best matches your level, your project, and the relationship you wish to build.
If one of the horses seems really suitable, the next step is to arrange an independent veterinary examination before making any purchase decision.
Step 4 — The veterinary examination before purchase
