OUR ROLE
Helping you choose methodically
Buying a horse is an important decision.
It is not just a financial investment, but also an emotional and daily commitment.
At IberHorse, we know that a good horse isn't just the one that looks good in a photo. It's the one that truly matches your level, your experience, your riding style, and the type of relationship you want to build with it.
Iberian horses often have a reputation for being people-oriented and pleasant to ride. However, they are not all suited to every rider. Their origin, their training, their temperament, level of training, and how they have been handled make a big difference.
That's why We are not trying to show you the largest number of horses possible. We prefer to filter, observe, ask the right questions and discard profiles that do not seem consistent with a serious search.
Each horse featured by IberHorse has been selected because it might be a good fit for a certain type of rider. Our job is then to help you understand if that horse is right for you.
Our goal is simple: to help you move forward with more clarity, more security and less doubt, so that your choice is based on something other than a crush or a beautiful advertisement.
What we look at before presenting a horse to you:
Health & Transparency
We are not veterinarians and we never replace an independent veterinary examination.
Our role is to observe, ask the right questions and immediately eliminate horses that present an anomaly, a doubt or an element that does not seem consistent with a serious search.
If a horse has a point to watch out for but its profile remains interesting, we will inform you clearly before going any further.
Character & temperament
Character is essential, especially for a horse rider. amateur.
We are looking for well-handled horses, close to humans, respectful and capable of creating a relationship of trust with their future owner.
A horse that does not show a healthy attitude in handling, at work, outdoors or with other horses does not enter our selection.
Level & suitability for the horse rider
A good horse is not just a well-trained horse. It is a horse suited to the person who will ride it.
We analyze his level of training, his regularity in work, his experience, his sensitivity and how well he matches the rider's level, objectives and personality.
Our goal is not to present you with the most spectacular horse, but the one that can truly make sense for you.
