Buying an Iberian horse does not begin with a simple list of horses.
It starts with a real conversation.
Your level, experience, budget, country, goals and sensitivity with horses are essential to understanding what type of horse might really suit you.
In the IberHorse catalog, you'll find a selection of Iberian horses from Spain and Portugal. Some may appeal to you because of their breed, coat, age, size, or conformation. But the most important thing, day-to-day, will always be the feeling you have with them: their character, temperament, training level, and the trust they inspire in you.
Every horse rider is different.
Each horse too.
That's why our role is not to show you the largest number of horses possible, but to help you move towards those that can truly make sense for you.
Since the creation of IberHorse in 2011, we have built a network of partners in Spain and Portugal: owners, breeders, horse riders, dealers, veterinarians and transporters.
This network allows us to better understand the local market, compare the information received and guide you towards horses that can truly match your project.
Some horses are visible in our catalogue. Others may only be considered after an initial exchange, when they truly match the desired profile.
A free initial conversation
During our first conversation, we will talk about you and the horse you are looking for.
We will take the time to understand:
- your level and experience;
- the type of horse you are looking for;
- Intended use: leisure, training, outdoor, working equitation, breeding or other;
- your overall budget;
- your country and the practical aspects of transport;
- the time at which you wish to buy;
- Your important criteria, but also those on which you could be flexible.
This initial conversation is free. It allows us to guide you honestly, explain how IberHorse works, and see what form of support can best suit your project.
View catalogue and the Top Secret horses
In our catalogue you will find photos, videos and a detailed description of many horses.
You can use the search filters to select the criteria most important to you: breed, age, size, coat, discipline, level or budget.
Some horses appear in our catalog as Top Secret. You can see their description, technical specifications and main information, but the photos and videos remain protected.
To access the Top Secret horses, first schedule a free initial consultation. If some profiles truly match your search criteria and budget, we can provide you with an access code.
During our first free exchange, we can give you an access code to view photos and videos of the horses. Top Secret that truly match your search criteria and budget.
These horses, at the owner's request, are only shown to people specifically looking for this type of horse. This allows us to protect the owners' privacy and present you with only options that align with your needs.

If, after this initial free consultation, you would like us to work on your project in a personalized way, you can activate the Full Service IberHorse.
Le Full Service allows us to dedicate real time to your search: analyzing your profile, filtering horses, contacting owners or sellers when necessary, requesting additional information, organizing a first visit and accompanying you through the important steps.
Le Full Service IberHorse: costs €450 for 45 days.
If you buy a horse listed by IberHorse, these €450 will be deducted from our final fees.
At this stage, our role is simple: to listen to you, understand your project, help you clarify your criteria and guide you towards the first options that may make sense for you.
